My bookcases are actually organized similarly—I have sections for read MG graphic novels, read YA graphic novels, read MG prose/verse novels, read YA prose/verse novels, and unread books (which aren't in any particular order). Buying a taller bookcase for the favorites is a pretty good solution—I think getting rid of favorite books is pretty much an impossible task anyway! We have a rough sense of organization (I did a series of video Bookcase Tours), but I've never been one to organize my books alphabetically or anything. But we have classics in one spot, favorites in another, YA and MG TBRs on another, my Dad's books that we inherited (lots of Stephen King and Dean Koontz) on another, etc. etc. Oh, and that overflowing TBR bookcase in our bedroom!

Recently, we were talking about how our Favorites bookcase is over-full now (with books stacked on top), and I decided the perfect solution was ... to buy a taller bookcase!

Sue

Book By BookSue Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14532098225905355332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890504570198680768.post-62889097859588443472021-05-28T07:44:57.306-07:002021-05-28T07:44:57.306-07:00The way I see it, it's only a problem if you f...The way I see it, it's only a problem if you feel like it's a problem! If you're happy with the set-up and can still find the books you want to read, I think it's totally fine to have that many! I have four six-foot tall bookcases and two four-foot tall cases, all four-feet wide and all overly full. I think I have a problem.
