But back in June, I finally "cracked" after the other #IMWAYR bloggers reviewed so many neat-sounding picture books and started reviewing them too.

I'm really glad you enjoyed The Day You Begin—it is fabulous (as is everything Jacqueline Woodson writes)!

And my other blog is actually a photography blog—I started it over the summer to participate in a photography challenge run by a book blogger I really enjoy, Maria Antonia (ofmariaantonia.wordpress.com). I hope to post some more photos over there soon, but things have been a little frantic lately, so that may have to wait temporarily. Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever encountered a spork in real life beyond on store shelves (and not even usually in the cutlery aisle—more in the weird-gadgets section by the checkouts). I'm glad the other books sound good as well. In my neck of the woods, everyone just returned from all over the country to begin classes again. We should know, very soon, if they brought Delta with them. Hope not (especially because we have a rather small hospital with few beds)! I adored The Rabbit Listened, Sulwe, and The Day You Begin. And I really love Julie Fogliano books and hope to read My Best Friend very soon! Unfortunately, we don’t have Spork in any of my local library options (I have Operatic on my #mustreadin2021 list, so I look forward to reading that in the next couple months).
